The NFRC Earns ILA Honor Award for the 20th Year!
The NFRC was awarded the International Literacy Association (ILA) Honor Award for exceptional service to literacy and the community. The award was presented at the New York Reading Association (NYSRA) April meeting. Congratulations to all involved in this rewarding honor!
The Honor Council Award annually recognizes councils that organize and conduct well-rounded programs serving the council members, the community, the state/provincial council, and the International Literacy Association. Councils are recognized for accomplishments of the previous year. The application required submitting summaries and proof of meeting and events in the following criteria:
