What is the cost of a membership in the Niagara Frontier Reading Council?
Membership fees vary. They are listed below.
Teaching Professionals, Parents, Retired Teaching Professionals .................................... $40.00
Full-time Students - Students must be taking college classes full-time........................ $15.00
What additional benefits do I receive for becoming a member of this organization?
As a member of the Niagara Frontier Reading Council you will receive the following benefits:
- Reduced fees for NFRC Fall Conference and Brunches
- NFRC Newsletter Spotlight
- Notification of all NFRC Activities
- Professional Networking
- Complimentary membership in the New York State Reading Association (NYSRA)
- Reduced registration at NYSRA Conference
- Mini-Grant Opportunities
If I am a member of the NFRC am I automatically a member of the International Reading Association?
No. By becoming a member of the Niagara Frontier Reading Council you receive a complimentary membership to the New York State Reading Association (NYSRA). The International Reading Association requires a separate membership.
What is the cost to attend the NFRC Fall Conference, Winter Brunch, and Spring Brunch?
Fees for the NFRC events vary but can always be found on our website www.theNFRC.org. They are also listed directly on the registration forms.
What are acceptable methods of payment?
The Niagara Frontier Reading Council can accept checks or money orders drawn on US funds only. Sorry no Canadian checks accepted. This information is also listed on the membership application/registration forms.

Membership fees as well as the NFRC Fall Conference fees can be sent to:

If I have already registered for an event but am unable to attend, what will happen to my fee?
The NFRC does not refund conference and brunch fees.
