The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Subaru SB&F Prize for Excellence in Science Books honors outstanding science writing and illustration for children and young adults in four categories: Children's Science Picture Books, Middle Grades Science Books, Young Adult Science Books, and Hands-on Science Books. The 2019 long list for the Children’s Science Picture Book category has been announced.
