The NFRC supports teachers in their implementation of RTTT. With the adoption of the Common Core, new regulations on APPR plans, and increased emphasis on data-driven instruction, the NFRC has decided to launch its first Professional Book Club this fall! Not only will this provide teachers with an opportunity to collaborate across districts, it is also an authentic and meaningful way to address professional responsibilities in many of the evaluation rubrics.
Great Habits, Great Readers by Paul Bambrick-Santoyo, AjaSettles, & Juliana Worrell is our first book selection. It offers clear strategies for teaching reading to ALL students andincludes a DVD showcasing more than 40 examples from realclassrooms. By participating in the NFRC's Fall Mini-Conference, you will receive a FREE copy of this book! We hope this encourages you to join the NFRC Professional Book Club!
